When Aussie FBI profiler Sophie Anderson gets a call at 2am from her parents in Australia, she knows something is up. But nothing can prepare her for the bombshell…a boy has been found murdered in almost the exact circumstances as her brother, his body dumped meters from the original crime scene.

With thirty years between the crimes, Sophie flies home to investigate the new murder with the hope of also solving her brother’s cold case. However the emotional pressure cranks up a notch when another young boy goes missing.

Sophie couldn’t save her brother, but can she save this boy and bring the perpetrator to justice?

From the Author:

Coming Home was written as an interactive ebook – each week I posted a chapter plus multiple choice questions on what should happen in the next chapter! Then, readers voted so they could affect the plot of the book.

Writing a book this way was both exciting and scary! I found myself often clicking on the survey results to see what I’d have to write!

Coming Home is officially the sixth book in my Sophie Anderson series, however it can be read as a standalone. It’s also more of a novella, at around 60,000 words, instead of the standard 80,000-100,000 words.

From the reviewers:

Raw emotional depth. When Sophie and Victoria’s (Victoria, Australia) only forensic psychologist draft a profile, the pace steps up and the story becomes a real thriller. The emotional depth is raw, and the setting in my own state (I’m most familiar with Eltham in this tale) brings the danger disturbingly close to home for Victorian readers.) COMING HOME is well worth reading. – Tez Miller

A Great Book – Gripping!  I enjoyed the storyline, and the book was very captivating. Well-written, great characters, suspense, thrills, action, and emotion. What more could a reader ask for? Strongly recommended. 5 stars…great work PD.  –  R.J. Parker
