What can a scarred mail order bride do when she is stranded in the west with no one to get married to?

Leanne Robinson has hit rock bottom – her father is gone, her life is in ruins, and she has no hope for the future.

Until… she receives a letter from a man in Colorado, inviting her to marry him and live out west. With no other options, she accepts.

When Leanne arrives out in the west, she discovers that the post had been delayed, and her hope of rescue is already married.

It is only then that Leanne rediscovers her hope in Theo Wilkins.

Theo blames himself for his parents’ early deaths and vows to continue running their self-built hotel in Sunny Springs, Colorado. However, when he hires the young, mysterious Leanne, Theo realizes that his life is about to become much more complicated.

There is something in her that touches on a desire which he has kept long hidden.

As Leanne and Theo learn to live and work together, something begins to bloom between them. But, as wildfires rage, mysteries are revealed, and Leanne’s worst insecurities are tested.
