Three days ago, Claire was a wife, a mother, and very much alive… then the music called for her.
Claire has one goal for the conference– to land a few whales so that her boss will give her a badly needed raise. She pitches and prays while courting the music industry elite until her plans are derailed by hotness-in-high-heels.
Bette is at the conference on a mission–to find a human with untapped talents that she can mold and control. Bette uses her cursed violin to lure Claire in with a haunting song, which unravels Claire’s life as her new talents emerge. To make matters worse, Claire is attracted to two unlikely people– Bette and her hunky associate, Gregor. Both can light Claire’s fire, but is either of them the only one?
Unfortunately for Claire, life isn’t all song lyrics and seduction. Tied to darkness by blood and power, Claire must harness her abilities if she has any hope of returning home to her daughter and regaining her former life… if that’s what she really wants.
Kill Me, the debut novel from author Alex Owens, is a quirky paranormal fantasy complete with music, magic, fangs and freaks. It is also the first in a planned series, with the second book due out by the Fall of 2012. Be forewarned, this is not your daughter’s paranormal.
Dustin Sordeno has had quite enough of his sister Isabella’s tyrant rule over her empire. She’s had her last chance to acknowledge his worth and she passed it by. He’s not going to take it anymore. Determined to usurp her once and for all, he concocts a scheme to take her place as head of the mutant empire.
But Isabella’s no amateur to the game. Seeing through her brother’s plot, she counters by taking her own measures, hiring her own spies, and infiltrating Dustin’s enemy lines. With the help of her suddenly-brilliant second-in-command, Kiera Graves, it appears she can’t fail.
But could Kiera’s allegiance be split? And if so, who besides Isabella could she be taking orders from? There isn’t another soul alive who could possibly influence her…

“There was a time…long ago, when whole nations, entire races of people, pinned their hopes and futures on individual warriors. Whole wars were won and lost on the outcome of a single battle between heroes. Entire countries were moved. Empires rose and fell…”
In Blue Fall, that time has come again.
A routine investigation throws a hapless insurance agent down the rabbit hole, into a world where the rich and powerful place wagers on the greatest game on earth. They call it the Tournament. It offers competition without limits. It is beholden to no man, and constrained by no law, and it is extremely dangerous. But where does the true power lie in this World Cup of warfare? With those who place the bets, or with the deadly players themselves? And can one man expose the secret before they find him?

Their very blood betrays them.
A disease passed to each new generation of descendants attracts vampires. Pieces of family history and the secrets to survival are lost as the lineage progresses. The Kindred Curse Anthology of prequels lead you back in time, revealing the root of a dynasty’s plight and a beginning that ultimately transcends the family’s end.
Consisting of five short stories, each subsequent book in this anthology is written as a prequel to the prior. The matriarch of the family, Anna Sprengel, survives a vampire poisoning. Her tainted blood is passed down to each new generation, morphing into deadly auto-immune diseases. However, no descendant can escape the magnetic pull they have toward vampires – and vampires have toward the family. Loosely based on the true story of the foundations of the Order of the Golden Dawn, Anna foresees the destruction of the world, and joins forces with a vampire in order to prevent the total loss of both races. But every member of the family in each generation must play their part. Constantly on the run from vampires, their instincts for self-preservation overcome even their kindred bonds. Anna is no longer around to ensure the prophecy is carried out by her family, but her vampire cohort, Xavier, is. Even if he can overcome the sensual pull toward Isabelle, fulfillment of the prophecy remains precarious as the future of both races is at stake.
Fear and betrayal threaten the kingdom of Avador. Keriam, a princess with supernatural powers, must save her father from assassination. But can she trust Roric, or is he part of the plot?
Roric loved once and lost. He wants to put his past behind him and love Princess Keriam, but he fears she is a witch. And witchcraft is forbidden in the kingdom. If found guilty, she will be burned at the stake. Not even her father could save her.

WHAT OUR EYES HAVE WITNESSED
Father Polycarp has a Gift. He can bring peace and rest to the restless dead.
At his touch, each hungering corpse lies still at last. But to do this, he must first look into each one’s blind eyes and find the remnant of the soul caught within the shambling corpse. He must witness each one’s secrets, each one’s suffering — all that each had loved and feared and regretted in their brief lives. Only then can he absolve them and set them free. Only then will they cease to walk and feed.
But Polycarp may be burned for it.
In this alternate history of second-century Rome, the lives of the early martyrs are retold as a chapter in humanity’s long struggle with hunger and with the hungry dead. This isn’t your parents’ Sunday School. It isn’t your college bible study or history class. It’s the old stories coming back, with teeth, carved open so you can see every beat of their hearts. The Zombie Bible is a lethal series that wrestles with the violence of human hunger and the power of hope. This novel is its second installment.
Stant Litore was born in the Pacific Northwest, but left his rural home at a young age, eventually earning his PhD in English. He spent several years in a dim corner of a library, repairing bruised and battered books, before heading overseas to backpack through Europe. Haunted by the hunger and poverty he witnessed at home and abroad, he began spinning stories about the hungers that devour us and the hopes that preserve us. Today he lives in Colorado with his wife and their two daughters, writing about the restless dead and the restless living. He avoids certain parts of the mountains during the dark of the moon.

Local rock band Ragman is finally taking off. Stephanie Case’s flamboyant performances and scorching guitar work have started attracting crowds, and singer John Tsiboukas–aka Johnny Tango–is delivering the best performances of his life. After months of playing to dead rooms, it looks like success is at hand.
The thing is, there’s something wrong with Johnny’s voice. Until just a few weeks ago, he couldn’t hit the right pitch if you painted a target on it and let him stand real close. Now he sounds amazing. . . and strange things happen every time he sings. Lights burn out. Whole rooms become cold and hushed. People get violent.
And sometimes, people die.
For Johnny and Case, Ragman is a ticket out of a life of meaningless, dead-end jobs and one lousy gig after another, but as the weirdness surrounding Johnny begins to turn into outright nightmare, they find that the price of stardom might be higher than either of them could ever have imagined.
“Joseph Garraty has written a horror novel that ranks right up there with the masters – “Voice” is amazingly creepy, full of the sorts of things that will make you keep the lights on for nights to come. His characters are realistic, and you feel like they are people you know. By the end of the book, you’ll be so creeped out, you’ll likely not even want to listen to rock music for a few days.
John Tsiboukas – aka Johnny Tango – has been obsessed with music since he was a kid. He’s in a band named Ragman with his brother, Danny – who plays drums – and a friend named Quentin on bass. Case, a guitarist, is brought into the group after he hears her at a new-band-night gig. Ragman has a great sound, but John himself has no voice – he has no sense of pitch and his voice is too weak to carry the hard rock sound to match the rest of the group. So, one night, he goes with a strange man to a crossroads and makes a deal – fame, fortune and glory. After that, his voice fills in to the potential and Ragman starts gaining a following. But weird things start to happen – there are murders around their venues. Johnny starts substituting odd chants for the lyrics. And an obsessive group of followers begins to trail along with the band – their faces hungry, their eyes … there is something wrong with their eyes. And then the final show in Dallas, where the potential for wrongness comes to fruition …
If you love horror and love rock and roll, you’ll LOVE this book. You won’t want to miss it – get it TODAY” – Amazon Reviewer, 5 Stars
