Here’s the set-up:

“…a spellbinding mystery…intricate adventure…Murder, deception and passion moved the story at a fast pace…kept me guessing until the end.”

Where secrets collide…

Shortly after university researchers Diane and Vincent Rose join a prosperous Houston biotech company, Vincent begins seeing hints of darkness in their new workplace and records his suspicions as if they are scientific data.
When Vincent vanishes during a yacht race off the coast of Texas, Diane Rose makes the stark discovery that another BRI scientist disappeared just months before. Is there a connection? Devastated but determined to uncover the truth, she trades her microscope for binoculars and master keys—unaware she’s being watched.
Drawing on her research skills, she covertly investigates BRI’s enigmatic staffers: an animal rights extremist with destructive tendencies, a disgraced scientist with ulterior motives, a shadow employee with dangerous secrets to protect and a sadist who gets his thrills through animal torture.
But the hunter becomes the hunted. On the run, Diane follows an international trail of secret societies, ill-fated lovers, greed and murder; all the while fighting an attraction to one of the world’s most powerful men—a man who wants to bed her or kill her—or both.

Editorial Review

Nelson’s adventure thriller is the captivating story of a dedicated young ethnobotanist lured to work for a wealthy Texas research institute by her former mentor. Nelson writes fluidly, drawing in readers. The novel effortlessly combines romance, drama and science. An interesting yarn…

Here’s the set-up:

Alan Callaway lived a life that revolved around petty crime and drug dealing. He cared nothing for anyone except for his younger brother Lenny. After suffering a serious accident Alan began to have disturbing dreams that prophesize a sickness that wipes out much of the world’s population. He tried to push the dreams to the back of his mind. By chance he met an elderly physic called Ena who also has similar dreams and saw them as a prophecy and introduced Alan to others who shared her belief. The prophecy proved to be true and Alan Callaway found himself involved with a community of survivors who believed that reason and a sense of morality are all that was needed to bring order back to the world. They were not prepared to listen to Alan’s warnings that they needed to learn to defend themselves and that the world outside their small community no longer has any rules, laws or moral code. In the meantime, Alan found a small section of the community who shared his views and looked to him as their leader. When he is proved right and a violent gang started to take over London and enslave all those they came across, Alan had to choose sides and found he couldn’t just stand back and watch as the world tumbled into chaos.

My first e-book ‘The Blues Man’ reached the semifinals of The Kindle Book Review Social Media Buzz Competition. My second e-book ‘The Dream Prophecy’ has just been released on kindle.

I was born and spent much of my adult life in London but now live in the West Country with my wife. I have three great adult children and six grandchildren and I love them all dearly. I used to sing and play blues harmonica and in rock and blues bands playing pubs and clubs many years ago but travelling home from a gig at 2 pm in the morning and getting up for work the following day no longer suited me. I still love listening to music and there is always an element of music in my writing. As well as music I love reading, walking and red wine.
