Here’s the set-up:
Ancient rituals. Up-to-the minute deception.
Reporter Taylor McWhorter knows something is going on at the newly reopened uranium mine on the local Navajo reservation. The Native workers are being fired. Rumors of bad Native American spirits and shapeshifters mingle with the stink of leach pit mining. The rough red mountains and steep canyons hide more passes and getaway trails than any maze. And Taylor’s sources keep turning up dead…
Until she meets Captain Trace Yazzie, head of the tribal police force and plenty to reckon with on his own. The chemistry between them is enough to incinerate Taylor’s rule about mixing business and pleasure. But with a murderer on the loose, priceless Navajo artifacts turning up in the wrong places, and Trace’s suggestion that spirits disturbed from looted burial sites might be part of the problem, Taylor can’t afford to lose her head to lust. This might be the story of the year. But unless she keeps her wits about her, it could be the last one Taylor ever tells…
Reviews:
“When I first read the description, I was intrigued by the mystery behind it all, but also the Navajo legend. I love to learn about other cultures and the Navajos that I have read about in other books I have enjoyed a lot, but also the added paranormal made the book interesting to me.”
“I read the blurb for this and was not 100% convinced I would like it, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! There is just something so mysterious and sexy about the Navajos and this just added to my feelings. The paranormal part was perfectly paired in and did not seem forced and was just enough for me. Trace and Taylor are so perfectly matched even though they are complete opposites. The author makes their connection so real and believable that I felt myself being pulled in. The paranormal portion had me on the edge of my seat and picturing it as if I was watching a movie because the writing is that good! The Navajo legends and mystique are perfect platform for the paranormal. Looking forward to more heat, suspense, and yes even a little more paranormal from this author. Great job!”

THREE WOMEN. THREE DECADES.
Spanning the years from the optimistic post-War 1940s to the Mad Men 1950s and rule-breaking “Make Love, Not War” 1960s, DECADES is about three generations of women who must confront the radical changes and upended expectations of the turbulent decades in which they lived.
Evelyn, talented but insecure, is a traditional woman of the Forties. She is a loyal and loving wife and mother whose marriage and family mean everything to her.
Nick, handsome and ambitious, a chameleon who changes with the changing times, is her successful but restless husband.
Joy, their daughter, confused and defiant, a child of the Sixties, needs them both but is torn between them.
Barbara is the other woman, younger than Evelyn, accomplished but alone. She is a transitional woman of the Fifties who wonders if she can have everything–including another woman’s husband.
