This book was a wonderful read. It is about a young mail order bride who has a colorful history and finds it very hard to tell her husband-to-be the truth. The setting is near beautiful Calgary, Alberta, includes suspense, murder and romance. I read the book in two evenings and found it very hard to put down. This story has everything from romance, history, suspense, and drama all in one. The characters are vivid and colourful, with relevant issues current to the time period they live in. Mail order bride, Livy Green is stuck in a predicament when she lies to her soon-to-be husband about her shady past. I could not put this book down until the last page.
