Here’s the set-up E. Van Lowe’s Earth Angel, just $3.99 on Kindle:

Just because Megan Barnett recently defeated Satan, has a fantastic new best friend, and has won the love of deliciously handsome Guy Matson doesn’t mean her troubles are over. Far from it. For Megan doesn’t realize it, but in her possession is a powerful weapon, one sought after by both angels and demons and everything in between. They will do ANYTHING to get it.

In E. Van Lowe’s dramatic and humorous sequel to “Boyfriend From Hell,” Megan winds up in a gripping life-or-death battle to save herself, the angel she loves, and all of mankind from unspeakable evil.

“E. Van Lowe does a great job of capturing teenage angst, dating woes, and parental issues without over-doing it,” writes critic Nicole Etolen, Pretty Opinionated. “‘Earth Angel’ was just as fun to read as ‘Boyfriend From Hell’.

Shawn Kleiner has it all: money, fame, a skyrocketing career as an international musical phenomenon, his beautiful girlfriend Amy, and all the women he wants — until the night Amy has enough and leaves him stranded in a Scottish castle tower.

He wakes up to find himself mistaken for Niall Campbell, medieval Highland warrior. Soon after, he is sent shimmying down a wind-torn castle wall into a dangerous cross country trek with Niall’s tempting, but knife-wielding fiancee. They are pursued by English soldiers and a Scottish traitor who want Niall dead.

Thrown forward in time, Niall learns history’s horrifying account of his own death, and of the Scots’ slaughter at Bannockburn. Undaunted, he navigates the roiled waters of Shawn’s life– pregnant girlfriend, amorous fans, enemies, and gambling debts— seeking a way to leap back across time to save his people, especially his beloved Allene. His growing fondness for Shawn’s life brings him face to face with his own weakness and teaches him the true meaning of faith.

Blue Bells of Scotland is both a historical adventure and a tale of redemption that will be remembered long after the last page has been turned.

From the reviewers:

Blue Bells Of Scotland is some of the best writing it has been my pleasure to read in some time. At first I was beginning to wonder where it was going. The more I read the less I cared where it was going because Ms Vosika kept me wrapped up in what was happening every moment.  –  Jarrel R. Jackson

Absolutely fabulous story.  What if you could swap your life with someone in years long past? It’s one of those questions I ask myself a lot. This book explores the possibilities of time travel and changing personalities.   –  Kat Yares

One of the most intriguing stories of Scottish history I have ever read. The characters came alive and through their experiences of love, loss, hope and redemption, I learned there is a bit of good in everyone. The time travel adventures combined with the historical perspective were riveting. I eagerly anticipate the sequels that are to come!  –  Ladybird

Kindle Nation Daily Bargain Book Alert: Lisa Olsen’s THE TOUCH is Our eBook of the Day at just $2.99, with 5.0 Stars on 7 Reviews, and Here’s a Free Sample!

Here’s the set-up for Lisa Olsen’s The Touch, just $2.99 on Kindle:

Lexi Morgan has always had The Touch; the ability to pick up an object and ‘see’ its past.  Doomed to wearing protective gloves at all times, she learned to accept it as equal parts gift and curse.

When her brother in law Neil disappears, she’d rather tell her sister to celebrate than try to help find the jerk. But after her young niece vanishes as well, it’s time to put her gift to good use and help track her down, especially when handsome Detective Gabriel Ryan takes over the case.

When the investigation leads them to the restless spirits of long dead children, they must work together to keep history from repeating itself before it’s too late.

Editorial review:

Lisa Olsen gives us a darker trip into the paranormal with her sophomore book, The Touch. Lexi has the gift of psychometry, the ability to read past memories of an object. She quickly becomes embroiled in a police investigation into her sister’s family which brings her into contact with Detective Gabriel Ryan, a face from the past. The third person POV allows for better access into the investigation, following Detective Ryan, and offers just enough insight into the crime procedure without becoming weighed down by it. Adding to the mix is the presence of ghosts, each with their own agenda. The Touch offers the quick, witty banter this author is becoming known for, while adding a fair amount of suspense and chills from the otherworldly characters.

From the reviewers:

Gripping thrill ride.  This book is excellent, but it’s two strongest points are the characters and author’s ability to weave a thriller that never slows down. Lexi is a very in-depth character and is about as realistic as they come.  –  Michael A. Saxton

This book was great! It had a wonderful blend of Supernatural, mystery and romance. the ghost children were creepy but not over the top, and the ending was unexpected, but in a great way. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, I couldn’t put it down  – R. Padgett

The Touch is an amazing book with suspense, murder, and creepy ghost children. I loved Lexi’s character, and many of the lesser characters were very colorful in their own way. I didn’t expect the ending to be how it was at all; I found myself on the edge of my seat to figure out what happened to everyone and who would be okay. A very entertaining read, but I don’t suggest reading it late at night in absolute silence, it’s creepy!  –  Emily

I am a writer, wife and mother of two currently living in the Pacific Northwest. I am a complete TV addict (have to have it on at all times, even when I’m writing). I also enjoy online RPG’s, singing, reading, cooking… lots more I can’t think of at the moment

The supernatural has long been my favorite to write and read. Werewolves, vampires, witchcraft, ghosts, things that go bump in the night; these are a few of my favorite things to write about. Not sparkly beings with phenomenal cosmic power that are always the smartest, bravest, prettiest Mary Sue to walk the planet, but real people who just happen to have this little quirk…

I am currently working on the sequel to Angel of Mercy – Mercy for the Wicked. For more information on my current writing exploits, please visit my website at http://www.lisaolsen.net

Anna Patricio is a lover of ancient history, with a particular interest in Egypt, Israel, Greece, and Rome. She is also intrigued by theAncient Near East, though she has not delved too much into it but hopes to one day.

Though she knew there were very limited job openings for ancient history graduates, she pursued her degree anyway as it was something she had always been passionate about.

From the reviewers:

R P Poe writes with such ease, he makes you want to sit by the fire and read his book all day. I highly recommend this story as a wonderful way to take you to that small town in Texas where you can visualize the landscape and start an intriguing tale of a man named Sam.  –  Linda

This is a wonderful read. Mr. Poe has captured the true flow of life in Texas and this book will be very hard for you to put down. I have read many books set in Texas and I can say this is the first book to exceed my expectations. A wonderful story with interesting characters set in actual places in Texas. You will not be disappointed.  –  Marshall S. Poe

R. P. Poe has done it again! This book is set in Texas, however, his handling of the mystery element, as well as the redemption element is universal. I think the author has a unique understanding of underlining human reactions of his characters and their situations. How he brings it all together is remarkable. I enjoyed this book immensely! I hope he keeps writing these good stories!  –   Priscilla

These books are great! I live in Texas, and Poe has captured the real Texas. His characters are just like people I know. We’re not all big hair and stupid politicians! I hope he keeps writing; I can’t wait for the next one!  –  “Native, also”

Seven years have passed since novelist Beth Rider escaped the clutches of Jack Dawn and his ilk.

She and Michael Stone find that the war rages on as a Rakum remnant begins to rebuild under the thumb of a tyrannical and unbalanced Elder. Determined to destroy everything Beth stands for, Elder Rufus initiates a deadly plan to draw her and her allies into his trap. With the aid of a disaffected Elder named Canaan and a mysterious, legendary Rakum youth known as The Last, the ‘Rabbit Army’ will confront the demonic forces behind those who threaten their freedom and their very lives.

In the battle between good and evil, the gray area expands as Beth longs to bring an end to the Rabbit Legacy.

From the reviewers:

I really never even thought the term “vampire Christian book” was possible in this sense but I can see from reading this book (in my case, even more so than the first one) that the pairing of vampires and spiritual lessons is just perfect.   –   I really loved this book and recommend readers of Rabbit: Chasing Beth Rider to keep on reading. Don’t be scared of sequels. This was just as great as the first!   If you haven’t started the series yet, I recommend you do. And if you are Christian and already a Paranormal Fantasy reader what is stopping you? I can’t wait to get my hands on Rabbit Redemption and am just really grateful that there will be other books by Ellen Maze until then. –  Erika Nelson

Who would’ve ever thought that a vampire story could be told like this one! –  Lynda S. Loges

It’s a great Vampire tale infused with Chrisitan beliefs, suspense and the unpredictable battle between Good and Evil. Is that even possible? Of course it is, and this author is absolutely brilliant at it. –  Tempest Storm

Riveting Vampire Fiction with a Spiritual Twist!  –  Marcia S. Freespirit

Ellen has been writing since she could form sentences. Her earliest works are tucked away safely in her mother’s files, but now, her currentwork is published for the world to see.

Her subjects range from vampires to angels to demonic powers in dark places; but her goal is to entertain the reader while sending a message of redemption that is only apparent between the lines. Pitching faith and bloodlust into a battle to the death, or oftentimes, to the life; Ellen always finds a way to balance the two in a fascinating and intriguing way.

A recovering vampire/horror fanatic, Ellen uses her experience in that subculture to bring the Light into the vampire genre. Addicting and delicious, Ellen’s brand of story-telling is rife with deep character study and honest emotion. Building characters that she loves deeply, that sentiment carries to the reader as well. Many readers feel that her writing reads ‘like a movie in their heads’.

Ellen graduated cum laude from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. She has been a licensed non-denominational minister and still teaches Scripture to teens and adults. She has also been a professional artist, specializing in custom pet portraits and equine art.

Ellen’s faith plays an important role in her life and although her novels are written for all people, they are often carried in Christian Markets. She lives in Historic Montgomery, Alabama with her husband, daughter, four cats and one spoiled dog.

Ellen has no holes in her neck…

Ellen says, “I love to write. I love to create stories that thrill me. The best thing is that they also thrill others, which allows me to continue in this terrific career. I have so many more tales to tell… Please keep your eye on me. I want to share with you again and again!”
