She knows the day Peter finally captures her will be the day she dies. To elude her brother and save the others, she’ll have to risk her body and her heart.
For five years, Cassie Reeser has been her brother’s personal lab rat. Peter’s experiments have made her a stronger, faster, better human. And she’s not the only one – he’s been experimenting on others as well. For five years, escape has eluded her.
Until now. When she finds out he plans to sell her as a human weapon she knows it’s now or never. To make her escape she’ll sacrifice family bonds and leave behind the one person who’s ever helped her. Cassie’s learned to shrink from kindness and to never trust anyone.
She knows the day Peter finally captures her will be the day she dies. To elude her brother and save the others, she’ll have to risk her body and her heart. What she doesn’t expect is a chance at a normal life.
Seth Adams is used to sifting through lies to find the truth. As a former war correspondent he knows what evils lurk in the world. When he finds Cassie hiding out in his car trunk, her story sounds like a fantastical dream.
But, before long, he witnesses firsthand what she’s talking about when they’re attacked by a group of Peter’s soldiers. As a result, he goes through his own transformation into a super human and realizes the extent of what Cassie is running from. Cassie might not think she needs his protection, but he’ll die before he lets her brother have her back.

Nana’s love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense she borrowed from her cousin on a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana at a precocious thirteen. She’s been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.
Waiting for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, Nana, meantime works out her drama, passion and sass with fictional characters every bit as sassy and kick butt as she thinks she is. Though, until that ninja job comes through, you’ll find her acting out scenes for hubby and puppy while catching up on her favorite reality television shows in sunny San Diego.

From the author:
I sailed to the Bahamas for the first time 1986. I bummed a ride on a friend’s boat and cruised the Abacos, ending up in Little Harbor where I met famed sculpture [artist] Randolph Johnston. His son Pete blew the conch shell at 4 pm and we dinghied in, sat at that old thatched-roof bar and drank “boat drinks” until the sun set. We left the Abacos a few days later but my heart remained in the Bahamas.
I still sail to the Abacos and beyond when time allows. This book is for those days when I cannot.
Bahama Breeze opens with two men trying to retrieve a jib halyard from the top of the mast in the middle of a tropical storm. Things go downhill from there. If you’ve ever owned a boat or gone cruising you can relate. If you haven’t, God bless you and enjoy the book. I certainly enjoyed writing it.

As God created Man in His own image, so too did Lucifer create the Ujahwek to prey upon the fleshed manifestations of his enemy.
For years Randall Montgomery swung a sledgehammer in a coal mine, as if pitting himself against a mountain would replenish a soul depleted by the Civil and Indian Wars. With the onset of black lung and middle age, he journeys west to visit an old army buddy before starting life anew. Instead of a friendly reunion, he finds a burgeoning terror last encountered in North America by early humans. A threat bent on claiming all who draw breath in the Wyoming Territories.
For ages the dark spirits of the once-feared Ujahwek have waited, ravenous and expectant … until a banished female shaman of the Blackfoot tribe is drawn to Skull Cliff in the Owl Creek Mountains. The shaman embraces the spirit of Xotaena, Ujahwek high priestess, and unleashes the means to resurrect the unholy species. Immediately they hunt their prey: humans. Xotaena selects Randall Montgomery for possession with the soul of her mate. To survive he must battle in both the physical and mental realms, or get dragged into the depths of humanity lost.
From the reviewer:
This fits comfortably in the Weird West genre with lashings of demonic possession and a hint of zombiedom. The trio of protagonists, led by a not-so-lonesome hero, fits nicely together and take the reader on a thrill ride to a desperate conclusion. It’s hedonistic reading, something to be devoured, and would not be out of place sandwiched between Howard E. Robert and Joe R. Lansdale. If you read and enjoyed the Weird West anthologies, this is something you will enjoy. – Pierre Mare

The Middle East is still untamed and Iran teases the nuclear button. Time to finish the game, they say, it is now or never.
Good Americans would be grateful, but they won’t ever need to know.

FROM THE BACK COVER:
2012. War weary Americans hail the endgame in Iraq and Afghanistan.
But the old enemy, Iran, is more dangerous than ever.
So the war on terror continues, but it must be kept in the shadows now. The Presidential machines cannot allow a mistake, there is an election to be won.
Con Maknazpy is weary too, still searching for his own peace. A hero in his native New York’s famous 69th Regiment, he just wants to retreat into the shadows of the streets he knows so well.
But Maknazpy is no ordinary man, he has been anointed with destiny. It’s in his blood and in the shadows of his soul. And the ghosts of the past and the future mark out that destiny, in blood. Blood that takes him to Ireland, Rome and Istanbul before he finds his own truth in the shadows of his Yonkers childhood.
Maknazpy’s destiny is to be a savior, but can he save himself?
***
It’s the old story. Deadly enemies, cultures so alien that neither can tolerate the other’s very existence. The essence of ancient myth and legends, from the epic Shahnameh of Iran in the east, to the Táin of the Irish in the west. We have always created such righteous truths to validate our own worlds, so that our way is virtuous, theirs is immoral.
Maknazpy knows about the War on Terror. Nuclear Iran. Homeland Security. If he survives long enough, Maknazpy can finally decide which truth, which world, is real.
Think Jim Thompson, James M Cain, Chester Himes and Eric Ambler. Reality is warped by confusion and lies, and the hero is always the last to know.
From the reviewers:
“Red herrings abound, and false leads. The Turkish sections become very intricate, so the busy plot demands patience amidst the threats and mayhem, as in the midst of rapid movements and conversations with which I sought to keep up. Similarly, its New York scenes turn as energetically as a quickly edited sequence from a film such as ‘The Bourne Identity’.” – Review from Fionnchú, Los Angeles, Amazon Top 500 Reviewer.
“Whether it’s through this literary subtext or whether it’s through the strengths in the writing itself, Blood From A Shadow does have an indefinable quality and true originality, finding a way to delve into a particularly Irish sensibility that has deep historical and mythological roots in its connection with the United States, and it places an unusual spin on a conventional genre that at times gives it an almost otherworldly quality.” – Review from Keris Nine, Amazon Top 500 Reviewer
“BLOOD FROM A SHADOW, with several distinctively drawn and interesting characters, is fast-paced with a super abundance of sub-plots, story line twists, and gritty violence to satisfy any aficionado of the genre.” — – Joseph Haschka – Glendale, CA, USA, Amazon Hall of Fame Reviewer, Amazon Top 500 Reviewer

Now that he’s dead, she learns that their connection has not been severed the way she expected. It isn’t long before she realizes that death is not as final as she thought it was.
During an unfortunate mishap while trying to communicate with the dead, Misty is overwhelmed by far more than the ghost of her dad. Although she looks for help in every direction, she is all alone. That is how she is supposed to feel as death tries to pull her in, but there is someone else watching, waiting, and that someone may have answers to questions she is too afraid to ask.
In the end, only she can decide where to place her trust and how far she is willing to go to understand what is happening to her.
What would it take to make you believe?
The Haunted is the first book in the Glimmer series.
From the reviewers:
Fantastic book with a great lead character. Only bad part is that I don’t have the next book! Will definitely be looking out for the next one. – Gerry
Dusti Reynolds has written a simple mysterious, paranormal story. She doesn’t go overboard with needless descriptions of the events taking place; nor does she list every minute detail the character acts upon. (I wish other authors would do this). I revel how the author threw in some twists and turns, keeping me guessing as to which direction the story was heading. I was quite intrigued (and surprised) as to the way it ended. – Pam
