This is the second book in the series but you don't need to have read the first one to fully enjoy it.
I really loved this book by Em Petrova! Delta and Drake are not perfect and for me that was great, I could relate in a deeper level. They have scars, both physical and emotional. You can relate to their suffering. They don't expect much from life. Em weaves a great story and she manages to let us understand and feel for them. You feel sadness, anguish, hope, happiness, all that and more!!!.
