Kindle Nation Daily Bargain Book Alert: Dusti Reynold’s The Haunted is Our eBook of the Day at just 99 cents, with 4.5 Stars, and Here’s a Free Sample

Here’s the set-up for Dusti Reynold’s The Haunted, just 99 Cents on Kindle:

Do you believe in ghosts? Misty would’ve answered no, but that was before her father died. Now, the answer is more than she can handle.

In the aftermath of a disastrous childhood, Misty did the only thing she could. She ran far away from her abusive father. Now that he’s dead, she learns that their connection has not been severed the way she expected. It isn’t long before she realizes that death is not as final as she thought it was.

During an unfortunate mishap while trying to communicate with the dead, Misty is overwhelmed by far more than the ghost of her dad. Although she looks for help in every direction, she is all alone. That is how she is supposed to feel as death tries to pull her in, but there is someone else watching, waiting, and that someone may have answers to questions she is too afraid to ask.

In the end, only she can decide where to place her trust and how far she is willing to go to understand what is happening to her.

What would it take to make you believe?

The Haunted is the first book in the Glimmer series.

From the reviewers:

Fantastic book with a great lead character. Only bad part is that I don’t have the next book! Will definitely be looking out for the next one.  –  Gerry

Dusti Reynolds has written a simple mysterious, paranormal story. She doesn’t go overboard with needless descriptions of the events taking place; nor does she list every minute detail the character acts upon. (I wish other authors would do this). I revel how the author threw in some twists and turns, keeping me guessing as to which direction the story was heading. I was quite intrigued (and surprised) as to the way it ended.  –  Pam

Here’s the set-up for Mike Messenger’s Check Out Time in Atlanta, just $5.00 on Kindle:

The Continental is not your typical hotel and “Check Out Time in Atlanta” will not be your typical hotel stay.

This twisted crime thriller is imbued with titillating psychology and suspense. It is set in a crazy hotel where weird and disturbing events take place. Its overlapping Elton John rumors erupt wildly into an “America’s Most Wanted” type capture.

Gen-Xer, Cotie Garrett—among many insane and unforgettable hotel characters—finds his life is intertwined and forever changed by his disturbingly arrogant boss, Rob Duffy. Scheming and cunning, in this down and dirty south scenario, hotel manager Duffy goes to maniacal lengths to hide the hotel’s dark and urban underbelly. Yet its most vile secret ends up being revealed, after all.

From the reviewer:

This book is a kind of creepy crime thriller. It has many twists and turns inside of a fictionalized hotel. The author has a wealth of knowledge and a unique style of writing. It’s like a Grand Hotel from Hell with its seedy underbelly characters. Check out this great novel, you’ll be glad you did.  –  Laura J.

So good I couldn’t put it down. I was shortly dissapointed just because I read it so fast. Great ending to an even better series. – Shannon

When I first read Amaranth in October 2011, I was so excited to read something so original. Rachael’s trilogy is not just about your traditional vampires. Rachael’s are magical and spiritual, having deep backgrounds. So when I read The Tragedy of Knowledge I was sad, because I knew it was ending. This book showed us Gavin and Camille’s true relationship. I was so happy to see them finally together in The Gates, and they certainly didn’t disappoint this round. So here is the end of The Resistance Trilogy but I know that Rachael won’t leave us for long, she has some more great stories coming. Enjoy 🙂 – The Book Diaries
