Tominda Ann Adkins was born and raised in West Virginia. All her teeth are intact and she has never attempted second base with a farm animal. She does play banjo. Poorly.
After a long stint as a graphic designer, formatting and illustrating such books as "Black Dog, Brown Dog" (Nina Zaragoza), Tom has finally caved to her true passion: writing books (as opposed to simply making them look pretty). She begins with her debut series, Vessel, a fantasy about five amateur gods and the disenchanted mortal woman who's stuck with them. She is so excited by writing and publishing that she often forgets how to be unhappy, which makes being around her difficult for some.
Tom currently lives, writes, works, and loves in Seattle, WA. She especially adores peer literary fiction, fantasy, short stories, the occasional memoir, trivial non-ficiton, and anything about publishing she can get her hands on.
