Here’s the set-up:

Sooner or later, everyone will need a lawyer. When that time comes, this book will become the best investment you’ve ever made!

It’s a certainty that someday in the lives of us all, we’ll have the need for legal services. My guidebook provides the reader with the practical information they should have when that day arrives.

The concept is that the average person has been kept in the dark far too long about the truth of how lawyers operate and interact with clients and those in search of an attorney. There is a shroud of mystery surrounding lawyers that fosters misinformation, prejudice, distrust and confusion. The aim of this book is to penetrate this shroud and solve the mystery. To accomplish this purpose, I inform, educate and illustrate what clients need to know.

Armed with new found knowledge and awareness, the layperson will be able to approach the attorney/client relationship with confidence rather than distrust and apprehension. This, in turn, will empower them to challenge the lawyer in ways that will save money, time and disappointment.

My book falls into the genre of a how-to book. Readers do not generally buy a how-to book and expect to be entertained. However, readers of “Legal Ease, Your Essential Guide To Lawyers Shysters And Ambulance Chasers” are in for a pleasant surprise. I have inserted, in between the pointers and practical advice, personal anecdotes that reflect some of the humor and drama of my experience in the legal arena. This format provides an entertainment bonus rarely part of a how-to or self-help book.

Clients have been exploited by lawyers in a multitude of ways that have come to be accepted as the norm. It is my mission to expose the imbalance in the attorney/client relationship. I suggest ways and means for the client to assert his rights and restore equilibrium to the relationship.

A secondary theme of this book is to expose the under-belly of the legal profession and the culture of greed that has come to identify lawyers. What started with the exorbitant fees of big law firms has spilled over to smaller firms as well as sole practitioners. Attorney fees have increased to the point where they bear no reasonable relationship to the value of the service performed. This abuse is known and tolerated by the organized bar.

As a consequence of this prevailing virus of greed, needed legal services are fast becoming out of the economic reach for all but the wealthy and privileged citizens of this country. A quote from a big firm lawyer taken from my book “that a claim for $50,000 was too paltry a sum to try to recover and not worth chasing,” illustrates the point. It’s time that someone within the profession challenges this type of greedy arrogance and speaks up for the average man and woman, and that is precisely what I do.

Saint Nick

Here’s the set-up:

Paul’s trendy spiritual ambitions have guttered, leaving him a burned-out, middle-aged bankruptcy lawyer. Now it’s almost Christmas, and the spirit world has decided to take Paul firmly in hand. Three iconic Native Americans of the nineteenth century, Black Elk, Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse, challenge Paul to a dream quest: no guarantee of safe return. It’s going to be a rough ride.

Fred Tribuzzo is a professional pilot who has flown aircraft from the J-3 Cub to the fastest corporate jet ever made-the Citation Ten. Currently flying a Boeing 737 Business Jet, his trips can range from thirty minutes to ten hours. It was on the far side of the world that he wrote Saint Nick.

4.0 out of 5 stars
September 26, 2009
Format:Paperback
In a blending of Native American spirituality with traditional Christian faith, Fred Tribuzzo’s slim volume relates the story of Paul, a middle-aged cynic about to see the bill on his self-centered life come due. A few days before Christmas finds Paul sitting home alone, playing video games before bed. Awaiting him is Christmas dinner with his mother and a reunion with his estranged son, home on leave from Iraq.

Picking up a dog-eared copy of “Black Elk Speaks” from his bedside table sets off a chain of events that awakens memories of his childhood and propels Paul into an alternative world where his heroes — Black Elk, Sitting Bull, and Crazy Horse — become flesh and blood characters. Each, in turn, challenges Paul’s cynical views, forcing him to see his life for what it is. But will Paul see the light, admit his faults, and find the courage to reverse a lifetime of cynicism and selfishness?

Trubuzzo’s writing style crisply moves the story forward, creates an eerie atmosphere in his dreamworld scenes, and provides a nostalgic view of Midwestern snowfall, last-minute holiday shopping and Christmas dinner with family.

A good read in any season, this seventy-three-page novella, with its Christmas message of redemption, promises to provide solace amid the harried holidays as well as an inspirational stocking stuffer for the book lovers on anyone’s gift list.

I will not mirror other reviews in this space by repeating a narrative analysis, suffice to say that “Saint Nick” is a simple tale, simply and effectively told. Author Fred Tribuzzo wraps it up neatly without fanfare or excessive rhetoric. This tale does not need either. A terrific short read with a lot to say. Perfect for the holiday season, or, indeed, any time one desires a rich and satisfying literary experience. Good things do indeed come in small packages. I am awaiting Mr. Tribuzzo’s next literary effort with great anticipation.

About The Author

Living in Canada, it is inevitable that those who lack enthusiasm for snow-related activities tend to stay indoors for a good portion of the year.

Thank goodness for computers. I became a web developer and eventually authored some text books about HTML and CSS, pleasantly surprised when they were picked up at the college level.

But I’ve always loved fantasy worlds and writing about what might be possible, given a certain suspension of disbelief and a rude assault upon the laws of physics.
Since I’ve always suspected that there is far too much gravity on this planet, I tend to take my people to other worlds.

Sally Mason’s teenage son Colton is headed for a major meltdown, and she’s desperate to avert another disaster by proving her husband’s recent death was an accident, not the suicide determined by the coroner. On the morning she discovers secret notes in Jack’s appointment book, she finds something else to convince her she’s right. But the more she digs for the truth, the more destructive Colton’s behavior becomes, until Sally is left with one choice: ask her father what really happened.

The problem: Sally hasn’t spoken to him in fifteen years.

But Gertrude ends up on the side of I-40 in flames, and Nashville has never seemed farther away.

Help arrives in the form of two Georgia football players headed for the Nashville dream as well. When Holden Ashford and Thomas Franklin stop to offer CeCe and Hank Junior a ride, fate may just give a nod to serendipity and meant to be.

About The Author

I love books! From my earliest memories, I loved being read to and then reading practically every book in my elementary school library. There’s something about taking a little trip into a wonderful story that is its own unique pleasure. Over the years, my favorite authors have provided me with glimpses into worlds I would never have known had I not picked up their books. From Beverley Cleary to Lavyrle Spencer to Jodi Piccoult to Anita Shreve and so many others, I am grateful they chose to become storytellers. A great story has the power to move, change and shape its readers. To me, that’s an honorable calling and a task I aspire to.

WINNER of Editors Choice Award

Elated after finishing high school exams, Edgar and his longtime friends are excited about their future and looking forward to their long vacation. Unbeknownst to them fate has other plans. Edgar's life turns into a living nightmare when, on his way home, his bus is stopped by the LRA rebels in northern Uganda. Along with other passengers, most of whom are students, Edgar is abducted and taken to the rebel headquarters deep in the mountains of southern Sudan. Things turn even worse when, instead of being forced to become a soldier, he is sold into slavery. His life is changed forever.

Edgar's friends learn of his fate and embark on a very difficult and unpredictable rescue mission. With the help of a fellow captive, Edgar attempts a daring and dangerous escape, knowing that his re-capture would end in a fate worse than death. But will he succeed? The dramatic finale awaits you as you follow Edgar while he is being chased down by warlords whose mission is to return him to the slave owners and collect a large reward.

The story gives readers an insight into the pain and suffering that Edgar endures at the hands of his captors; and his unshakable faith and hope of eventually being free. Through Edgar's story, the reader will come to understand the resilience that human beings can exhibit under extreme circumstances, the power of faith and the meaning of true friendship. Looking collectively at the people who are involved in Edgar's captivity and the ones who assist him, we are reminded that people are capable of good or evil, regardless of color or creed.

About the Author
Thank you visiting my author page. I work as Consultant for the United Nations and in my spare time I write stories. I am a published author of two award-winning novels. My first novel "Nightmare Along the River Nile" is set in Uganda and Sudan. It is a story about a student who was abducted by the LRA and sold into slavery. My second novel "The Helpers" is an international tale of espionage and corruption, and is set in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Europe and United States. "Nightmare Along the River Nile" was inspired by actual events that happened to many young boys and girls in northern Uganda in the 1990s. The story was conceived from many interviews that were conducted with survivors and former child soldiers who managed to escape the LRA. "The Helpers" was inspired by colonialism in the Congo (both DRC & ROC) and how it led to corruption and terror. I have lived and worked in Africa, Europe and United States and I am an advocate of human rights issues like anti human trafficking, protection of war children and child education.

Here’s the set-up:

This is book 1 of 3

A tale of magic, romance and fangs.

This MIGHT be a little like Dracula if written by J. K. Rowling. It’s a place where magic and vampires interweave for an exciting adventure.

We start with a shiny new pot of boiling water and add too many evil vampires, and not enough of the good biters. Toss in one suicidal Dracula; add a cup of mayhem and a dash of romance. Oh yes, and a pinch of mirth. Stir lovingly and you have a new novel by A. J. Gallant. If it sounds like the recipe for you then you must read Dracula: Hearts of Stone. Dracula commands it.

New York City is under attack.
Dracula is suicidal in a world where evil vampires are in the early stages of taking over. The Master has lived too long and can’t find a reason to face another day. Nasty vampires are feeding on vulnerable mortals and causing chaos. Years ago he trained valiant sheriffs and expects them to defend the humans but they are being overrun. Piers Anthony, the author, is now a vampire. He spends his days attempting to get the Master to snap out of it and to defend the humans, without losing his head.
A 12-year-old girl is a rare hybrid, half human and half vampire; she was conceived the normal way, with her mother a mortal and her father a vampire. Jenny is slowly discovering that she may be a blood wizard. She’s already an accomplished vampire killer and can cast spells, but an underground figure has noticed the girl. Some believe that she might be the one of legend that tips the scale toward good.
Sheriff Alexander and his vampire German shepherd stand and fight for justice.
Will the red sheriffs be overrun? Will Michael finally get the courage to ask out the sheriff?

Dracula: Hearts of Stone Book One of Three.

Here are some of the characters in this book.
Dracula is a bit of a good guy.
Piers Anthony is now a vampire.
Jenny is a 12-year-old hybrid with extraordinary talent.
Lauren is an exceptional sheriff with unsurpassed fighting skills.
A very special Siamese cat searches for Dracula.
Tessy is a vampire German shepherd that hates the evil ones.
Alexander is a handsome sheriff trying to save the world, one vampire at a time.
