Here's the set-up:
OUTVIEW, the best selling first book of the Inner Movement trilogy - A mystical fantasy thriller.

There is a secret so powerful that, once known, the world will never be the same. For centuries they have died to protect it.
Nate found it. They know he did. Across time and dimension they are after him . . .

Four years ago, his father died. Two years ago, Nate’s mother locked his brother in a mental institution. One year ago, horrific visions began to torture him. Now, a clandestine group, wielding overwhelming power, wants him silenced. Nate is only sixteen.
Nothing is what it appears and the tragedies of his life are all connected to the secret, a secret so unimaginable that it will decide whether our modern society becomes a utopian or dystopian world.

Nate embarks on a breathless quest to save his brother and unravel the mystery of their father's death. His desperate flight takes a stunning turn when, along with three school friends, he encounters mystics who teach forgotten skills and lost wisdom and reveal an extraordinary destiny.

A fantasy thriller, set in present day Oregon and California, will appeal to more than young adult fans. Outview, the first book of the Inner Movement trilogy, combines mystics, metaphysical magic, psychics and reincarnation to push this new age conspiracy beyond the realm of the Celestine Prophecy and the Paulo Coelho’s Alchemist.
One Reviewer Notes:
... Disguised in the shape of fantasy and science fiction elements, in this novel I recognize many modern spiritual, esoteric and supernatural concepts ... The trilogy has the potential of classics, such as the Celestine Prophecy ...

Here’s the set-up:

A modern tale, an ancient mysticism, a universal love.  Overcome by the weight of his own failure to live up to the world’s standard of success, to the point where he no longer cares about his own life, Ballard Davies decides that there is only one solution. He gets in his car and drives. He drives away from everything and everyone that he knows, in an effort to just start over. He doesn’t care where he’s headed; he just wants another chance to get it right. What he finds is beyond his imagination, as he befriends an exciting and eccentric cast of characters. From the divinely inspired to the rationalistic blowhards, everything is suddenly new for him. But there is one problem. He still cannot escape himself. What will it take for Ballard to overcome his own self-imposed limitations and live the adventure he feels he deserves? This is the journey he now travels, down a path where truth, love, desperation, honor, the forgiving and the righteous, the mystics and the scientists all battle for the chance to be given the foremost spot in the realm of his mind. Will the pain of loneliness and separation prevail, or will Ballard find something to live for?

5-star Amazon reviews

“Sreejit is an incredibly gifted writer. I loved this book. Can’t wait for more.”

“Great job of illustrating how the mind yanks us around, distorting our view of ourselves and others, using up our precious time and taking us away from what we really want. The plight of us all. My favorite line: “I just expected the universe to realize I was its center and eventually remember it needed to take care of me.” Seems to me that weaving this story via dialogue alone was a skillful accomplishment. I was fully engrossed, hated to come to the end, but felt satisfied with the conclusion.”

Stupidparty Math v. Myth: Unmasking the Destructive Forces Eroding American Democracy
4.5 stars – 24 Reviews
Text-to-Speech and Lending: Enabled

Here’s the set-up:

Help American Politics and Democracy by Removing the Stupid from Stupidparty.

Stupidparty Math v. Myth: Unmasking the Destructive Forces Eroding American Democracy relies on publicly available facts, resources and tools to deconstruct and relentlessly drill down on the numerous misconceptions held by too many Republicans. Substantiated by more than 1,500 hyperlinks to authoritative resources, readers will find:

  • Stupidparty positions defrocked on: the “Moochers”, the economy, climate change, environmental stewardship, racism, religion, “Freedoms”, guns, and ignorance-based humor.
  • The fallacy of Fox News facts exposed, documented, and explained.

Also included are 1,055 full color images and 121 graphs and charts.

Once thoughtful, discerning Americans understand the destructive forces manipulating their views, they will begin to call for a stop to the stupidity that has invaded our politics and poisoned our political process. The eradication of Stupid from the Stupidparty is the first step.

This book does not set out to destroy the Republican Party. The U.S. needs at least two parties. But by exposing the abundance of Myth with the relentless use of Math and facts, the problems and then the solutions become self-evident.

One Reviewer Notes:
One of the more immersive, complete and inspiring titles that I have come across. The fantasy genre has in recent years all but become boring and predictable - and this book, though I hesitated at first - has taken me on a magical journey that was both mysterious and refreshing. I recommend this title for book lovers everywhere. Gendelman manages to take what is usually considered very teenage and simplistic and crafts an awesome experience even for cynical readers such as myself.

While trying to raise Ola on her own, her mother would often provide her with children's books to occupy her, thus igniting Gandelman's love for literature and story-telling. The first stories she was exposed to were the works of Hans Christian Andersen, the Grimm Brothers, and especially a wide variety of Russian folklore. These fairytales and their unique darkness and characteristics will prove to be of importance later on when Gandelman begins writing herself. As she grew, Gandelman often found herself drawn to the arts. She took piano lessons for seven years, learned painting and studied acting, all while continuing to write. Her first story was written when she was seven and was about witches and magic, a subject she always held dear to her heart. After suffering depression in her teens, Gandelman began working more determinately on a story that she called "In to the Mists". A piece of work she initially conceptualized at the young age of eleven. However, it took Gandelman years until she polished that first idea, and several more years until she finished writing her first book.

“Once you start this book, you will be telling people about it and you won’t be able to put it down. This book will change your life, one page at a time.” Sally Shupe

James is sitting at a Ft. Worth intersection waiting for the light to change when he hears the roar of a truck engine speeding toward him. Before he can react, his motorcycle is crushed, and he is thrown fifty feet onto the median.

At that precise moment in Dallas, Elizabeth’s sleep is interrupted by a vivid dream in which she witnesses James’ accident. As she watches him begin to pass from life to death, she extends her hand and cries, “Don’t die if you don’t know Jesus!”

Although neither James nor Elizabeth is aware of the existence of the other, they begin a ten-year odyssey in which their lives are inexorably intertwined, changing their futures and the futures of those they love most.

“The Warrior” is a moving testimony to the power of prayer and God’s desire to redeem every life.

An Amazon bestseller in World Literature and Eastern European Literature

Cordelia is disabled and painfully shy but none of that matters when a stranger desperately needs her help. Shaken out of a routine that centers on caring for her odd family in Warsaw–her father is an academic with no life skills, her brother never leaves the villa, and her mother has dementia–she is forced to act. Zaremba, a wealthy businessman, is fleeing arrest when he stops to save her father’s life. He claims to be innocent and wants a favor as he seeks to turn the tables on the authorities. Cordelia is grateful but wary. Is he truly being persecuted or is he deceiving her? Her reluctant agreement to aid him plunges her into new realms of emotion. It is when he disappears, however, that she must gather all her courage and pursue the truth. Touching on human rights issues and real events in Europe, this is primarily a love story, intended for readers who enjoy language, conversation, and human relationships. It contains no graphic sex or violence.

Reviews

“I hugely enjoyed reading this novel, I was constantly worried about the protagonists, I was anxious about their well-being, and I kept thinking: “oh, please, let this end well”…. perhaps this is already the post-post-postmodern era, and it’s possible again to write romantic-adventurous, let’s-fight-for-the-truth stories – seriously, and entertainingly.” Beatrix Turán, Books, My Ego and Entropy

“At the heart of the novel is a beautifully crafted love story made all the more endearing for its seemingly mismatched protagonists…highly entertaining…” – Mary Bor, Curious Book Fans

“Once you start it you will be lost in Poland…Time will fly by and you will come back to earth a bit disoriented hours after you start reading….it will appeal to readers who love the more classic type of novel, where character development and location are a huge portion of the writing. Though this is a modern novel it reminded me of the feeling I had reading Jane Eyre and Emma. I highly recommend this book.” – Cristina Gutierrez, Alaskan Book Café
