Here's the set-up:
Temptation was only the beginning in this twisted tale.
Eliza
crosses the threshold into Graham's bedroom and his consuming Manhattan
lifestyle. When this enigmatic man opens a doorway into the erotic realm
of what it means to be dominated, she succumbs to his intoxicating
power.
Surrendering to him without reserve becomes a point of no
return in which he teaches her that in submission she finds freedom. Yet
instead of feeding his hunger for the woman who becomes the whisper he
can't ignore, Graham's forced to focus on his company during an
international crisis.
As shadows from his past creep into
existence, Eliza draws from her tough childhood that taught her to be
stubborn and resilient. She befriends a woman from Graham's past in
order to uncover the secrets behind the man who holds her a willing
captive. Yet by submitting to him to appease his possessive nature, she
fears exposing herself completely to a man with an equally dark history.
When their worlds come crashing down, both Graham and Eliza are
forced to choose between secrets and trust, between love and lust.
If
they're willing to play the edge together, they might discover the
doorway to overcome their painful pasts, and a healing power their lives
have been missing.
One Reviewer Notes:
This book was a lot more sexual as well. I don't think anyone could read this book and not be affected. I absolutely love Maria. She is great and I hope to see more of her in the next book. I love the villain in this story. She gave us just the right amount of angst in this book to have you wondering what will she be up to in the next. I love the way that Eliza handled her, it made me really love her character. I am super excited for the next book in this series. What a great series!!!!
