The Witch Baby Harvest
The mischievous and amusing elements of their craft are not subdued, as the sister witch duo maneuver through their eventful life performing harmless pranks, and orchestrating impactful altruistic spells. They have pressing issues transpire almost daily, living on the outskirts of a modern city, from saving raccoons from a “coon hunt”, rescuing nuns at a convent, and thwarting random acts of transgression. Their love for animals is a driving force in their lives as they rescue ones in need, and cherish all.
The witch sisters have learned to run if the Tiny Witch’s fur turns yellow, but they need her special potion for the annual Witch Baby Harvest. They believe the Tiny Witch, Ariel, to be greedy with her demands for jewels for the Silver Shimmer, and a thorn in their side, as she encompasses fear and antipathy among witches and warlocks. Ariel is more powerful than all the witches and warlocks in their community, but she doesn’t look like the other witches, and she certainly doesn’t perform like one! Imagine fur that changes colors from purple to hot pink, changing her temperament along with it! She has a dismal life hidden away in the forest because of her appearance, but the sister witches cultivate a friendship with her and lift her from her despair. And you will instantly fall in love with her little sidekick, the pipsqueak!
More conflict arises when Penny is threatened by high school students who attempt to expose her witchcraft, but she is triumphant as she impels the trajectory of two teenagers from poverty, and the pain of abandonment, to contentment and success.
You have the opportunity to emerge yourself in the lives of Penny and Violet as they encompass a riveting and consummate sibling devotion to each other. The placid and demure, Violet, is disenchanted with her legacy of being a witch, she dreams of a normal life and struggles with her feelings of inadequacy. She wants to find love with a human as she seeks normality. She also feels horses don’t like witches and is the obstacle to having a horse, which she has dreamed of since a small child. Her apprehensions are realized when she falls in love with a Medicine Man on the Hopi reservation. The community doesn’t accept witches and her love casts her away until her sister intercedes. Penny is determined that Violet doesn’t suffer a broken heart as she has. Penny is gregarious, gifted, and vivacious, and hides her heartache, of a lost love, submerging herself into a life of staunch enthusiasm for witchcraft.
As they navigate through trials and tribulations, the culmination of potions and spells, orchestrating spectacular conceptions, and visit convents and castles, the strong bond of sisterhood is cultivated to new pinnacles, and their path is opulent. These witches are not egregious and only want the best for everyone, but a little mischievous fun is not repressed! Gallant deeds of rescue, and harmless pranks, are weaved into their daily life and give us a new perspective on what it’s like being born a witch.
